Inspiration right here

My Husband semi surprised me with a couple of nights away, he reminded me that we need to spend some quality time together and I agreed it has been a while since our last date. All I have to say is WOW stunning, we stayed at the Avocado Sunset BnB on Mt Tamborine. I suggest that if you are not looking for a realllllyyyy long honeymoon maybe just a couple of nights or a week to rest and relax this is the place to be.

When we booked, it was pretty easy just rang and the young man on the other end was not the usual person for booking but still knew enough to book us in and was very polite. Due to work commitments we had to rebook and they were still very accommodating. A couple of days before they sent us an email reminder and asked for an approximate time of arrival which we then rang and told them lunch time. The lovely man with the gorgeous English accent told us it's usually a 2pm book in but we are normally ready by 1pm and happy to let you in if we are done by then. Winning!

We were escorted to our room which had a verandah looking out over the mountain and below, there was a huge Spa bath in the room and I mean huge, instructions for everything on every appliance or working gadget, the thread count on the sheets must have been quite high as they felt like clouds, every room had an aircon, mini fridge with complimentary chocolate, cold drinks, biscuits, coffee and tea.

Cheryl and Richard could not look after us enough they were so easy to chat with which made for great conversation and kept us entertained. Breakfast was 5star Cafe style eating and yes there were Avocados on our plates. The Ambience in the main area was like a quaint English Cabin with candles, Chandeliers, Plush lounges, a whole stack of DVD's to watch, a pretty Christmas tree with all the trimmings and a view to die for as wide as the room itself. You could see forever and we did just sit there forever and watch the day go by. At the end of the night if you felt the need there was a crystal decanter of port waiting as a night cap it really made you feel welcome.

I took so many photos and when Hubby was relaxing reading the paper I was busy on my Lap top typing away. The words just kept coming out of the air dropping onto the keyboard it was just inspirational listening to the birds, smelling the fresh air, being in the audience of the sunset and all whilst spending time with my loving Husband.

Pure perfection.

Everything on Mt Tamborine is no more then a ten minute drive each way, they have everything art stalls, Cafes, Pubs, BnB's, Grocery stores, bush walks, tourist attractions, petrol stations, schools, wedding venues, my fav wineries and so much more....

I have been a little busy and it's about to amp up with Christmas coming. I have really prepped myself for a magnificent year of magical weddings. So blessed and grateful for the universe sending the couples I have met on my journey and the couples that will cross my path to allow me the honour of being their Marriage makeriser( Yes I have made that word up and it should be in the dictionary) One day I will invent a word that must be in the Oxenford.

Thank you to the Hosts Cheryl and Richard you and your beautiful English accents made our time memorable. I would highly recommend this beautiful abode to anyone wanting time out of the hustle and bustle. Definitely put it on your bucket list or make it your go to if a honeymoon is out of the question.

We came as strangers and left as return offenders yep we rebooked for the new year can't wait. Next time we get to have the fire place in our room lit another winner!.
